Gondor is a turn based fantasy strategic PBEM game with Role-play and Wargame elements. 

The game is played with groups of human players from all over the world. The amount of players will differ per game, we can start games with a few players up to hundreds of players. All opponents are human controlled realms.

What is Gondor about?
Gondor is about surving and maybe even conquering a fantastic world. Each player starts with his own Realm. A Realm consists of a Hero (yourself) a few settlements and troops in your home district. All districts are located somewhere on one isle. Everybody will form armies and discover surrounding districts to build new settlements. After a short while there will be no space left to expand your realm by building. And thus you will quickly experience that all is not Peace nor Paradise on Gondor. Realms will start to battle eachother for various reasons like expansion, power, gold, magic, destruction of Evil, religion or plain pleasure.

In your struggle to survive and eventually rule Gondor you will uncover lost treasures, battle fantastic creatures, learn ancient magics and search for legendary Quests... and more

Will Gondor be ruled by the Good, the Evil, a group of Religious, a band of friends ? The faith of Gondor is again in your hands.

Surely Gondor is not the only PBEM but it's surely special in it's kind. So what is so great about this PBEM ?

So you still have no idea what to expect, that's perfeclyt normal, Take a look at some example turnsheets and orders to get a somewhat better idea. It might look boring at first but if you're really looking for great and deep gameplay with huge player interaction and can imagine the world without need of great graphics, you'll see this game shine after playing several turns along with some real players. . Almost like with RPG's it is difficult to really explain what it is all about, until you play it yourselves.
